Call To Worship
Liturgist: Shout for joy to the Lord, all the earth. Worship the Lord with gladness; come before Him with joyful songs.
Congregation: Know that the Lord is God. It is He who made us, and we are His; we are His people, the sheep of His pasture.
L: Enter His gates with thanksgiving and His courts with praise; give thanks to Him and praise His name.
C: For the Lord is good and His love endures forever; His faithfulness continues through all generations.
L: We begin in the name of the Lord who made us.
All: Let us sing and worship together as we praise God’s holy name.
Opening Prayer
All: Almighty God, we acknowledge and bewail our manifold sins and wickedness, which we from time to time most grievously have committed, by thought, word, and deed, against Thy divine majesty. We do earnestly repent, and are heartily sorry for these of our misdoing; the remembrance of them is grievous unto us. Have mercy upon us, have mercy upon us, most merciful God. For your Son, our Lord Jesus’s sake, forgive us all that is past. Amen.

*Scripture
Psalm 130 (NIV)
1 Out of the depths I cry to you, Lord;
2 Lord, hear my voice. Let your ears be attentive to my cry for mercy.
3 If you, Lord, kept a record of sins, Lord, who could stand?
4 But with you there is forgiveness, so that we can, with reverence, serve you.
5 I wait for the Lord, my whole being waits, and in his word I put my hope.
6 I wait for the Lord more than watchmen wait for the morning, more than watchmen wait for the morning.
7 Israel, put your hope in the Lord, for with the Lord is unfailing love and with him is full redemption.
8 He himself will redeem Israel from all their sins.
